WSW Research Architecture

An analytical environment designed to measure market behavior mathematically.

WSW was created to address a research problem: existing market software was not designed to answer questions requiring measurement beyond timeframe-based representations.

WSW was not created as another charting platform, indicator system, or trading application.

Core principle: The analytical environment determines what can be measured. Before interpreting market behavior, the measurement framework must be defined.

The issue is that time aggregation occurs before analysis.

The software has already determined what constitutes a period, how events are segmented, and what information is preserved or discarded.

Why Existing Tools Were Limited

The research question was not:

The deeper question was:

"Can market behavior be measured independently of timeframe-based assumptions?"

WSW and the Intra-Day Momentum Method™ are related, but they are not the same.

WSW is the research architecture.

The Intra-Day Momentum Method™ is a specific methodology developed through this type of research process.

WSW was not created specifically for IDMM, and the IDMM methodology is not simply a software feature. WSW provides the analytical environment required to investigate market structure mathematically.
